An AAF722 Hornet skims past the explosion after successfully attacking a Lagunan interceptor, during the breakout of the Lagunan city-ships and their fated drive to attack Terra. These fighters formed the backbone of the Terran interceptor/fighter fleet and these early versions proved more than a match against their Lagunan equivilents, despite the earlier technology employed.
